It was a quarter finals match up between the second seeded 10-3-1 SAR Sting and the 8-5-1 HAFTR Hawks. The Hawks, the clear underdogs going in as SAR had the btter record, but also had a 6-1 home record. SAR was dominant at home this season, and they brough that confidence into this playoff round. The game started off pretty even as the Hawks were still trying to get used to SAR's very unique gym. Mid first the Hawks scored their first goal of the game and never looked back. Finishing the first period up 2-0, the Hawks went on to score a goal in each of the next two period to keep their hold on the game, and go home with the victory. They now go on to play the undefeated DRS Wildcats in the Semis.
