In a wildly close game, SAR defeated DRS 53-48 in overtime. Led by star sophomore Joseph Aaron, DRS held a slim lead throughout the game. But SAR came charging back, led by Matteas Ellis' 22 points and Ari Halpert's 16. Up 3 with just a few seconds to play, DRS' Tzvi Saidi hit a memorably clutch, very distant 3-pointer on the buzzer to send the game to overtime. But SAR outscored DRS 7-2 in the extra stanza to secure the road win. Sting freshman Jonah Blechner was tremendous on the boards and defense and sophomore Caleb Eden played a tough, hard-nosed game from the opening tip to control the paint on the defensive end. Ari Blechner and Evan Goldberg combined for 9 big supporting points.
