Head Coach Recap Central Chills Heat Central 3, Heschel 1 6/10/22 Heschel slipped on its roster and fell to Central 3-1 tonight. Missing in action were Heschel #1, #6 and #7, forcing attending players to move up a slot and a pre-match default at #2 Doubles due to absences. · Molly Mandl, moving up to #3, finished the season with the best Heschel record of the entire roster (5-1), claiming the sole Heat victory in her stellar debut singles match of the season, burning Central in the #3 slot, 10-1. Clutch Claudia Messer’s strong forehands sailed past the baseline as she salvaged one game in her 1-10 defeat at #1 Singles while Line-Drive Sophia Kasirer-Teitelbaum battled to 5-10 at #2. Dynamic Mira Cohen and Spirited Bianca Levy teamed for the first time at #1 Doubles falling 4-10 under blazing summer like conditions. Doubles #2 reads as a 0-10 defeat, as the absence of a full roster results in a default of the abandoned match. The Heat Girls can be proud they made the Playoffs this year, finishing the season with a 5-1 record, an .833 percentage. The team is welcome to check in with the Coaches for suggestions on how to develop their stroke and strategy strengths over the summer. We want to work to improve our way to the Championship in 2023.
