The Hawks continued their strong play from their last game of the season where they locked up second place. Having home court advantage the MTA lions had to travel out to the Brickhouse for the quarter finals. The Hawks came out flying scoring 4 goals in the first period, attempting to put this game out of reach. MTA however would not go down without a fight.  Netting two goals in the next two periods MTA tried to get back into the game but the Hawks wouldn't let them. The final score of the game was 6-2 HAFTR.
