With the West Bye on the line on Superbowl Sunday, the JEC Thunder beat the MTA Lions by a 48-34 score at Yeshiva University.

JEC was led by Freshman center Ethan Thurm with 20 points and 12 rebounds.

JEC Captain, PG, Dovid Rozezadeh, quaterbacked  the Thunder to the win with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.

FR. PG Dani Hess, gave shorthanded JEC a huge lift with 8 pts, 7 assists, and outstanding floor play.

JEC has now earned its first playoff bye since the 2004-5 season, with Hillel remaining on the schedule Tuesday night.
