It was an overcast cloudy evening at Firemans Field. Frisch MYHSAL 2016 champions came in looking to avenge their regular season loss to Hillel back in May .
Frisch takes everly 1-0 lead after Isaac Laifer motors around to score from first base . Both teams were playing solid defense early on in the game . Yisroel Solomon was dominating going into the top of the 5th pitching a no hitter .
Frisch then capitalizes on a game changing opportunity . With 2 outs and runners at 1st and 2nd up steps Jonathan Katzman . Katzman crushes a 3-2 pitch to deep centerfield into a different zip code . The 3 run homer put frisch up 4-0 and it looked like the wind was taken out of Hillel .
Bottom of the 5th Albert Sitt breaks up the no hitter with a single. Followed by a D.C. Cohen triple and Abraham Serouya Single and the Frisch lead was cut to 4-2. At this point Hillel's confidence was evident and Frisch team started to feel the pressure .
Michael Ancona held Frisch scoreless in the top of the 6th and now the Hillel crowd was roaring and chanting. On a Sunday night prime time game there were over 100 fans in attendance . Lead off single by Teddy Braha and followed up by hits from Charlesy Seruya and D.C. Cohen brings the game to 4-3.
With bases loaded and 2 outs Abraham Serouya delivers a hard grounder for a single to tie the game at 4-4 . However , Frisch then nails the runner rounding third base and ended the Hillel rally .
Top of the 7th Frisch takes back the momentum after loading the bases with one out . Frisch took a 5-4 lead on hard grounder that Isaac Beda some how makes an incredible force at third base . Ancona then buckled down getting the third out with great pitching .
Bottom of the 7th , Hillel gets a Leadoff single by Noah "Willie" Maze . Yisroel Solomon settles downs and records a strikeout to silence the crowd . Isaac Beda then delivers a clutch base hit and pinch runner Steven "Hightops" Levy motors around second to put the tying run at third base.
Teddy Braha continues his torrid hitting and delivers a base hit to tie the game at 5-5 . After a Marty antebi infield single the bases were loaded for the surging Hillel Heat . Up steps Charles Seruya and he crushes a shot to centerfield that Yonatan Potash makes an over the shoulder miracle catch . However Isaac Beda tagged up at third base and scored the winning run to secure the 6-5 comeback win .
I would like to commend Coach Rabbi Jonathan Schachter and his entire Frisch team . They are a talented , respectful and a classy team .

Yonatan Potash made an unbelievable catch in the 7th inning. He would be on the list of the top players to have played in MYHSAL history . ( Best Varsity hitter in the league )
Jonathan Katzman 3 run Homer was a rocket launched off his bat .
Isaac Laifer is a smart player who knows the game well and is a leader on this Frisch team .

Abraham serouya ,Noah Maze , DC Cohen and Albert Sitt all 2-3 hitting were the key to both Hillel scoring rallies.
