With the 65 degree beauty day on Memorial weekend the stands were packed at Firemans field . The first 4 innings saw superb pitching from Isaac Dweck and Michael Ancona . Mowing down the hitters as Ancona and Dweck only giving up 3 hits each . 

 

In the top of the 5th Flatbush came out swinging .Teddy Beyda ropes a base hit followed by a Meyer Kassin double . With 2nd and 3rd and one out Alan Frastai bloops a single to put Flatbush ahead with a 1-0 lead. 

 

Isaac Dweck was bearing down on the Hillel lineup . The Flatbush Falcons intensity and fire was feeding off their pitcher . It looked like scoring a run seemed like a tough task for the Hillel team. 

 

Bottom of 7th and Hillel comes to the plate . With  the fans all dressed in "Red Out" chanting from the packed bleachers .Albert Sitt leads the inning with a walk with the 11th man in the stands chanting and cheering . After a force out , Michael Ancona hits a base hit to put runners at 1st and 2nd with one out . Up steps to the plate David "DC" Cohen . With Ikie "Baby Meat" on deck , Isaac Dweck had to make sure to go after D.C. cohen . D.C.ropes a line drive that gets through the Flatbush outfield. Ancona motoring around third base like a gazelle and slides home to give the Hillel Heat the 2-1 victory.

 

Great games by Flatbush Isaac Dweck ( pitched his heart out ) , Teddy Beyda and Alan Frastai were both 2-2 at the plate .

 

Hillel players of the game D.C. Cohen 2-3 and game winning hit . Michael Ancona pitched a gem and came flying around like a gazelle from first with game winning run. The 11th man in the stands willing the Hillel team to victory .

 

Well played game by both teams !
