In a rematch of the quarter finals from last year, the HANC Hurricans came to Frisch hungry for revenge.

The Frisch Cougars had different plans. Coming out with exterme intensity and fire, the Cougars jumped out to an early 5-0 lead. When the HANC Hurricanes tied up the game at 5-5 the Cougars went into 3rd gear and, with great ball movement, great shooting and superb defence they jumped to a 16-7 1st quater lead. When the 2nd q buzzer sounded, Frisch held out to a 33-20 lead. 

Needing to match the intensity Hanc was sure to show coming out of the half, the Cougars were up to the challenge and built the lead to 20 to end the 3rd. When all was said and done, the Cougars defeated HANC 74-40 and look forward to a very tough and determined MDY Warriors team int he MYHSAL semifinals.
