The Ramaz Rams took it early to the Heschel Heat in the big cross town rivalry and the Heat escaped the first half with a narrow 47-39 lead due to some late first  half scores and despite Jonny Povman's 17 first half points for Ramaz. The Heat were able to open a 14 point lead in the 2nd half but The Rams never quit drawing to within 7 with 3 minutes left but could get no closer. Povmann finished with 19 to lead the Rams while Ilan Orgel had a career high with 32( 5 threes) and Harlan Reiss continued his offensive surge with 25 ( 5 threes). THe Heat made 14 threes but Ramaz was 21 for 25 from the foul line which kept them in the game.
