THe Frisch Cougars took it to The Heschel Heat early opening a 12-4 lead after the first period but Heschel regained their composure and pulled to within 3 at the half 22-19. The Heat revved up their defensive intensity after the half and opened a 36-32 lead after 3 periods and used some superb 4th Qtr. foul shooting while opening a 12 point lead and finished with a hard earned 59-50 victory. The Heat were lead as usual by 3 year starting Sr. guards Michael Gatan and Jeremy Spiera who played their usual great defense, good floor games and had 10 and 15 points respectively. Sr. Harlan Reiss after a very quiet first half (2 points) had 15 in the 2nd half as well as 10 rebounds for the game. The Cougars were lead by Sr. Sam Fishman who had 16 points (8 in each half) and Sr. point guard Isaac Laifer who had 13 points. The Heat  are now 13+0 and 4+0 in league play and are back in action on Wednesday Dec 7 against cross town rival Ramaz at home and then travel to N.J the next night to Play Hillel.
