Wildcats pull it off on last at bat.

The bats were busy at Cunningham on Tuesday, and when the dust cleared the Wildcats had a 10-9 win over Bruriah in five innings.

The teams totaled nine hits, including three extra base hits in the game.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the fifth, with nine lead changes.

The Wildcats pulled out the win thanks to a strong fifth inning. The Wildcats scored on an RBI single by Jessica Plotsker off Gila Alter, plating Arielie Goldstein.

 

 

Atara Levine got on base four times in the game for the Wildcats. She scored one run and had three RBIs. She doubled in the fourth inning.

 

Bracha Weider got the win for the Wildcats. She allowed two runs over 2 2/3 innings. Weider struck out one, walked three and gave up three hits.

Gila A couldn't get it done in the circle for Bruriah, taking a loss. She allowed 10 runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked 13 and struck out two.

In the bottom of the first, the Wildcats grabbed the early lead, 1-0. A double by Plotsker, bringing home Tamar Levine started the inning off.

The Wildcats scored one run of their own in the second. The Wildcats scored on an RBI single by Sharoni Borenstein.

The Wildcats quickly matched Bruriah's strong inning with a three-run inning of their own in the fifth.
