In a hard fought game between both teams Flatbush was able to come away with the upset beating SAR 3-2. solid fielding made it difficult for any team to make a run keeping the game tied at 1-1 until the bottom of the fifth when SAR finally broke the tie to take a 2-1. Flatbush proved that they were not going to go down easy and answered back immediately to take 3-2 lead in the top of the 6th. That run proved to be all they needed as Sylvia Franco was stellar from the mound and held SAR to seal the Falcons trip to the semi-finals.
