In what was hard fought and back and forth game, the Flatbush Falcons were able to prevail 56-53 over a strong, sharpshooting, and poised Hillel Heat basketball team. Hillel did beautiful job at both ends of the floor converting on 8 three pointers and backing that up with a strong full court press defense. Hillel was led by Issac Beda with 18 points, Gordon Adelson with 10, and Robert Tobias with 8 points. Flatbush pulled out the victory due in no small part to the great support it received from its fans. Flatbush was led in scoring by Abie Rosow with 16 points, Kevin Haddad with 12, and 9 points from Jackie Mishaan. The Falcons move on to the semifinals. Special recognition goes out to the fans of both Hillel and Flatbush for their amazing support, enthusiasm, and energy which contributed to an unbelievable atmosphere in Brooklyn on this night.
