The Heschel Heat relied on its pressure defense early in the game having not played in almost 4  weeks and held The YDE Thunder to 7 first Qtr.points and only 16 at the half as they opened a 16 point lead at the half 32-16 and then coasted to a 68-41 Qtr. final victory. Every player but one scored for the Heat which has been their M.O all year long with Jr. guard Jeremy Spiera leading the way with 14 followed by Super soph Ilan Orgel's 13 and SR.captain Ben Brandeis with 11. Sr. point Guard Aaron Brandeis though being in foul trouble early had 7 and 8 assists. Sr. Guard Morris  Bassoul led YDE with 14 knocking down three 3's in the 4th Qtr. The Heat now play Flatbush at home next week in a semi final game before playing in the Very Prestigious Sarachek Tournament at Yeshiva University March 10-14.
