It was a strong win for the hawks going into the finals showing people what they are capable of. The game didnt start off as the hawks would have liked falling behind 1-0 early in the first. Later in the first the hawks would tie it up on a goal from captain jake burger to tie it up at 1. In the second period, the hawks seemed to not be able to stay out of the penalty box which could have set them back. Kill after kill the hawks held off the barrage of oppurtunities from SAR and kept them from scoring. It would be a shorthanded goal from captain gilad kerstein that would put the hawks ahead in the second 2-1.  After two more goals from jake berger and strong goaltending from ryan gluck, the hawks put their foot on the gas and never looked back finishing the game with a strong 4-1 win.
