From the beginning it was clear haftr came with upset on their mind and controlled a lot of the game early. A few minutes in they took a 1-0 on a shot from the point that was directed in very nicely. Haftr excitedingly took a 1-0 lead into the 2nd. They didn't stop there and a couple minutes into the 2nd scored on a rebound power play goal to make it 2-0. At that point Frisch needed to wake up and they did starting to attack more, however haftr's goalie stood tall. However with a little over a minute left sophomore standout Maury Bauer finally found the back of the of the net to go int the the 3rd down 2-1. The game completely changed in the 3rd Frisch tool complete control. Quickly in the 3rd they scored the equalizer on a pp goal from Charlie bendheim. A minute later the tandem of Bauer and tropp hooked up as they did all year to put Frisch ahead for good. Bauer then added another goal after the goalies switched sides which was followed very quickly by the second goals for both bendheim and tropp and Frisch took home the 6-2 victory and advanced to their first ever jv championship.
