Believing that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, the JV Thunder last night followed in the footsteps of the Varsity thunder as they too dispatched the Magen David Warriors, with a convincing 6-0 win.

The JV thunders offense continued to produce in this game with linchpin offensive defenseman Netanel Kramer scoring shorthanded, which, when paired with 4 goals by All Star Sophomore  forward Elisha Schmutter  ( 2 of which were on the Power play) and 1 by Sophomore Yossi Benkhen, where all the JV thunder would need to assure themselves of a victory.

Sophomore goaltender Alec Seidman continued his strong play in net by providing the Thunder with a strong first period, thus allowing the aforementioned offense to get going.  Strong Defensive play by sophomore Yitzy Hershkowitz,  freshman Yair Cantor and team favorite Binyamin Babayof helped to insure the JV’s Second straight Shutout.

Honorary mention to the sophomores Aryeh Marcus(4 assists) Shmuel Weinberger (1 assist) and Freshman Sammy Simcha for strong overall play.
