SSLI Storm defeated the Hanc Hurricanes in overtime 3-2. After closing the first period down 0-1, the team refocused and kept their defense tight as Dean Abada scored tying the game 1-1. Hanc answered with another goal in the third period. With 3.2 seconds left to the game, Ira Kohlerscored tying the game and sending it into overtime. Entering the overtime with a 3 on 2 penalty to kill, the Storm rallied together to keep the game going before Dean Abada scored the game-winning shot.
