In what was one of the best played High School games of the year, The Heschel Heat withstood a superb effort from the entire TABC team and Gavi Smith's four 3 pointers to win their twelfth straight game and go 7-0 in league play. Having beaten THe Storm twice before by wide margins the Heat knew they would be in for a diiifcult task to beat a good team 3 times and The Game lived up to their expectations. Neither team took more than a 3 or 4 point lead the entire game but a great backdoor play by Ben Brandeis to Brother Aaron in the overtime with the Heat up by 2 proved to be the difference. Jr guard Jeremy Spiera led the Heat with 16 points via four 3's and Aaron Brandeis had 13, 11 coming in the 4th period and overtime. The Heat return to lelague play Thursday at home against Hillel.
